Hot & Dirty Brass Band is not your typical Milwaukee band. They play NOLA Funk and Brass Band music that really gets the crowd movin’ and groovin’. Joining my friends in Not for Profit for an afternoon event with the residents of Lambs Farm. It’s an appreciation lunch sponsored by the Board and is always a great time for the guests and band. We play music and they sing an dance like the world stopped spinning for them. We should all enjoy food, dessert and music like these people do! I will be mostly singing and playing some trumpet. I’ve also played both guitar and drums on this gig in the past.

Mitch The Lip will be joining friends in Better with Bacon for a night of jams and adult beverages at Copper Fiddle Distillery. Show starts at 8 PM and I’ll be hitting the woodpile for the night. That means playing drums! If you like the music of Phish, Widespread Panic, Dead, Zeppelin, Goose and Blues Image, you will have a blast listening to BwB! See you there.

I’ll be playing trumpet and singing for a private event. This band won the Law Rocks - Chicago with guests from the firm we are playing for. They will do all the songs we played at the Law Rocks event at Lincoln Hall and add a couple sets of music from the Not for Profit book of songs.

The Nightburners always put on a show! Kevin and the band bring some fire to the ice and raise the roof with rockin’ swamp, funk and blues rock. Come join the fun at Broken Oar in the heated Barn. Worth the time and effort to come see us!

Got a call from my friends in Lake Effect and subbing for Sam Simpson on vocals and trumpet. He’s on the mend, but not ready to sing 3 sets. I’ll be doing my best Motown, Staxx, and the likes of funk and rock. Come out and grab a drink or some food and hang with the band. Perfect weather for a night indoors!

November and December have some great gigs scheduled and this is one of them. Jerry Goodman is the most recorded electric fiddle player of all time having played with The Flock from 1967-1973 when he was plucked to go on the road with Mahavishnu Orchestra by Clive Davis! Howard Levy started playing piano at 8 and Harmonica at 18. He has 2 Grammy’s and 4 nominations to show for his incredible talent. They have a band worth seeing with original members of The Flock, The Mauds, Dixie Dregs, Bela Fleck & The Flecktones and Howard played and toured with Paul Simon! This is a DO NOT MISS show!
