The Bus Stop Blues Show - Guest with Tom 'Shoes' Trinka
I’ll be a guest on The Bus Stop Blues show again. This time with Tom ‘Shoes’ Trinka! If you don’t know who he is, you should. He’s a legendary multi-instrumentalist playing Sax, flute, keys and vocals. I get to work with him in multiple music situations both live and in studio recording. Now we share the experience of being on the radio together. There’s a book of the top 50 Saxophone solos in Pop music and he’s one of the players in that book for his work on The Curly Shuffle with Jump In The Saddle Band. Look it up!
Buffett Beach Band - Sub
I’ll be hanging with the Buffett Beach Band in Gary, IN for a gig. Looking forward to some crowd watching and playing some fun music that people really enjoy. Of course there’s a whole story on how I got the call to sub with them. They also invited me to be their guest at a Cubs game the next day. Who does that? Very cool people.

Joining my friends in Not for Profit for an afternoon event with the residents of Lambs Farm. It’s an appreciation lunch sponsored by the Board and is always a great time for the guests and band. We play music and they sing an dance like the world stopped spinning for them. We should all enjoy food, dessert and music like these people do! I will be mostly singing and playing some trumpet. I’ll be playing trumpet and singing for a private event. This band won the Law Rocks - Chicago with guests from the firm we are playing for. They will do all the songs we played at the Law Rocks event at Lincoln Hall and add a couple sets of music from the Not for Profit book of songs.

November and December have some great gigs scheduled and this is one of them. Jerry Goodman is the most recorded electric fiddle player of all time having played with The Flock from 1967-1973 when he was plucked to go on the road with Mahavishnu Orchestra by Clive Davis! Howard Levy started playing piano at 8 and Harmonica at 18. He has 2 Grammy’s and 4 nominations to show for his incredible talent. They have a band worth seeing with original members of The Flock, The Mauds, Dixie Dregs, Bela Fleck & The Flecktones and Howard played and toured with Paul Simon! This is a DO NOT MISS show!
