The band started in 1965 and was signed to Columbia Records in 1968 to record, play and tour all over US and EU until 1976. There were some iterations after that, but none that had the success of those years. The band now is really special with original members Jerry Goodman and Jerry Smith carrying the torch with Howard Levy and a host of world class musicians. If you haven’t seen a rare show, you’re missing out on the real band playing music they wrote, that is still relevant and you will notice all the bands that came after The Flock that were clearly influenced by their style of Prog Rock!
